WHEN IS A PARTICULAR SAFETY LEASH NOT SUITABLE?

A coiled safety leash is not suitable for paddling in waves or rivers, as it may cause dangerous recoil or entanglement.

A SUP surf safety leash is not suitable for moving or whitewater rivers, where there is a risk of snagging.

A safety leash for rivers and whitewater is not intended for use on calm waters or in surf conditions.
