Warm water boots

Prolimit Predator 5 mm neoprene water boots with a round toe design allow very easy entry, as they feature two Velcro straps that can be fully opened when putting them on and then tightened for an optimal fit.

To make pulling them on even easier, there is a sturdy heel loop at the back, allowing you to slide your foot in without worrying about tearing the neoprene.

These neoprene water boots are made from eco-friendly Limestone Airflex 300+ neoprene, derived from limestone. GBS glued and blindstitched seams prevent cold water from entering, while the reinforced sole provides excellent protection and grip on various surfaces.

Heel reinforcement combined with an adjustable Velcro strap across the instep gives the foot added stability and support.

Prolimit Predator 5 mm GBS neoprene water boots are very warm and suitable for demanding conditions. If your feet tend to get cold easily, you may prefer the Prolimit Predator 5.5 mm version, which is slightly thicker and features a soft fleece lining on the inside.

Advanced technology in neoprene water boots

  • Limestone neoprene is a modern material used by Prolimit across its entire range of wetsuits and neoprene gear. Unlike traditional neoprene, which uses petroleum-based butadiene as a binding agent, limestone neoprene uses a limestone-based binder.

This makes the material more environmentally friendly, while also being warmer and more durable compared to standard neoprene. Prolimit uses three versions of this material (300+, 500+ and 550+), which differ in stretch and flexibility. This allows the optimal material to be selected for each individual panel of neoprene gear.

  • GBS (glued and blindstitched seams) are glued seams commonly used in modern neoprene construction. The fabric panels are first glued together and then stitched in a way that only partially penetrates the material, preventing water from entering through the needle holes.

This type of seam is extremely durable and helps prevent the neoprene from stretching and thinning over time, ensuring long-lasting thermal insulation.
