Women’s neoprene wetsuit for kitesurfing, surfing and SUP in winter

The Prolimit Flare Steamer 5/3 women’s wetsuit is designed for cold conditions and will impress anyone looking for a truly warm wetsuit that performs reliably in winter. It is especially recommended for kitesurfing, surfing and SUP during the colder months.

Technically advanced wetsuit for cold conditions

Winter sessions require technically refined and high-quality equipment. The Prolimit Flare Steamer 5/3 stands out for its exceptional comfort, thanks to highly stretchable Down AirFlex neoprene that allows natural movement without restriction.

Inside, Prolimit uses a Zodiac fleece lining that feels soft and warm from the first touch. The Zodiac lining is placed across the chest, back and down to the knees, providing excellent thermal protection where it matters most. This makes the Flare Steamer 5/3 one of the warmest women’s wetsuits in the Prolimit range.

Wetsuit details:

  • The 5/3 thickness means 5 mm neoprene on the core for warmth and 3 mm neoprene on the arms and legs for flexibility.
  • Back zip entry allows easy and quick changing. A protective velcro closure at the top of the zipper helps prevent cold water from entering through the neck.
  • The Prolimit Flare Steamer 5/3 Down AirFlex GBS is available in four sizes for an optimal fit.

Wetsuit technology:

  • Zodiac lining is a soft, fleece-like thermal lining used in Prolimit’s warmest wetsuits. It pulls water away from the skin and traps warm air, keeping the body warmer for longer.
  • Velvet AirFlex Quick Dry inner lining is extremely soft, highly stretchable and dries quickly while feeling smooth against the skin.
  • Down AirFlex neoprene is Prolimit’s latest high-end neoprene material, used in premium models such as the Predator and Flare series. It is water-repellent to limit water intake while remaining exceptionally flexible, especially in the arms for unrestricted movement.
  • GBS seams (glued and blind stitched) are glued first and then stitched only partially through the neoprene to prevent water from entering. This construction increases durability and helps the wetsuit retain its thermal properties over time.
