The Pocket Rocket V2 works on a single skin canopy principle (a single-layer parachute-like construction) on short lines. You unfold the parawing, take off on foil, then stash it into a stash belt – and continue riding swells with your hands free. When you need power again or want to head back upwind, you redeploy it in seconds.

Ozone Pocket Rocket V2 Technology

The Pocket Rocket V2 is built on decades of Ozone's experience in paragliding and foil kite design. The single skin canopy construction with bridle system brings the best practices from two disciplines into one compact wing for the water.

The key innovation in V2 is the diagonal rib support structure – diagonal reinforcement at the front of the parawing that evenly distributes load from the leading edge across the entire surface. The result is a cleaner profile, better tension and significantly improved upwind angle.

The new bar is shorter and more rigid than on V1 – with no centre leader line restricting hand positioning. The bow bar's front line engages the central bridle line levels at a ratio that controls the canopy more evenly through changes in angle of attack. This delivers more progressive power distribution and a wider usable wind range.

Shorter bridle lines reduce the mechanical gap between rider input and canopy response. The parawing feels more alive and responsive. A special coating on the front lines allows smooth hand-sliding for faster pack-down.

The material is the proven double rip-stop nylon with hydrophobic coating – lightweight, water-shedding, with excellent water re-launch characteristics.
