A compact electric board with the power for street and trail

The Onewheel Pint S is a compact self-balancing electric one-wheel board for riders who want a fast, nimble and versatile ride in the city and beyond. It's an upgrade of the proven Pint X platform with new firmware that unlocks a higher top speed (32 km/h) and factory-fitted premium accessories.

Onewheel works on a self-balancing principle – lean forward to accelerate, lean back to brake. No remote, no complicated controls. The ride feels closest to surfing or snowboarding, only it happens on pavement, gravel or forest trails.

What sets the Pint S apart from the Pint X are three factory upgrades: a Performance Treaded tire for better grip on every surface, Flared Footpads with a 15% larger footprint for more control, and a Maghandle Pro aluminium handle for carrying. The result is a board as compact as the Pint X but better equipped for more demanding rides.

Commute to work along the bike path in the morning. Hit the forest trails in the afternoon. Carve the neighbourhood in the evening. The Onewheel Pint S is one board for all of it.

Top speed: 32 km/h (20 mph)  |  Range: 19–29 km (12–18 mi)

Who is the Onewheel Pint S for?

The Onewheel Pint S is made for riders looking for a compact electric board with enough capability for daily use and recreation.

We recommend it for:

  • riders who want an electric board for daily city commutes
  • those looking for compact last-mile transport
  • riders who want to carve on paved and gravel paths
  • beginners who want an intuitive, self-balancing board with safety features
  • advanced riders who want a compact board with higher speed and off-road capability
  • everyone who wants the feeling of surfing or snowboarding – on dry land

Comparison: Onewheel Pint S vs Pint X vs GT

Onewheel offers several active models with different capabilities and uses. The Pint X is a compact board for the city and shorter trips, with a top speed of 29 km/h and 19–29 km range. The Pint S is built on the same platform but adds higher speed (32 km/h), a better tire and larger footpads – the ideal choice for those who want more capability in a compact package. The Onewheel GT is the largest and most powerful model, with up to 51 km range and 32 km/h, made for longer rides and more demanding terrain.

Onewheel Pint S highlights

Higher top speed (32 km/h)
Updated firmware unlocks 2 mph more than the Pint X, meaning faster acceleration and a higher top speed.

Better grip on every surface (Performance Treaded tire)
The factory-fitted Performance Treaded tire, with a mixed rubber compound and thinner sidewalls, delivers better stability, grip and adaptability to terrain – from pavement to gravel and forest trails.

More control and comfort (Flared Footpads)
A 15% larger footpad surface provides more grip, better control while carving and a more comfortable ride over longer distances. Larger sensor pads enable more reliable foot detection.

Long range for a compact board (19–29 km)
The 324 Wh NMC battery offers plenty of range for daily commutes and recreational rides without worrying about charging.

Compact size for everyday use
At 68.9 cm long and 12.25 kg, the Pint S is small enough to carry into the office, onto the bus or into a bar.

Adjustable ride via the app
4 built-in ride modes and Custom Shaping let you tune responsiveness, speed and board behaviour to your style.

Safety without compromise
Pushback, Haptic Buzz and Simplestop are three safety systems that warn of limits and enable safe stopping – especially useful for beginners.

Technology

The Onewheel Pint S is built on Onewheel's 750 W Hypercore brushless hub motor, integrated directly into the wheel. The brushless design delivers quiet operation, smooth torque and minimal maintenance.

The self-balancing system uses accelerometers and gyroscopes that adjust balance in real time based on the rider's lean. The result is intuitive, remote-free control – lean forward to accelerate, lean back to brake.

The battery is built on NMC (nickel-manganese-cobalt) cells with a 324 Wh capacity, ensuring stable torque throughout the entire discharge cycle. The system supports regenerative braking – energy is returned to the battery when braking and descending.

The Pint S also features Haptic Buzz – a haptic warning system that uses vibration and an audible signal to alert the rider when approaching top speed, low battery or torque overload. Combined with Pushback (a slight lift of the board's nose), this forms a two-layer safety system.

A Lightbar LED on the front footpad sensor shows battery status, sensor status and warnings while riding.

Why choose Onewheel?

Onewheel was created by Future Motion, a company from Santa Cruz, California that has been building unique self-balancing electric one-wheel boards since 2014. It's a one-of-a-kind concept in personal mobility – a self-balancing board controlled purely by leaning your body.

Onewheel isn't a classic electric skateboard or scooter. It's a category of its own, with a community of more than 300,000 riders worldwide and over 270 million kilometres ridden. Every model is designed and assembled in the USA.

A rich ecosystem of accessories – from fenders and bumpers to rail guards – lets you customize the board to your own taste. The Onewheel app gives you full control over the board's behaviour, ride tracking and a connection to the community.
