3/2 Kids Wetsuit for Spring and Autumn on the Water
The O'Neill Reactor 2 is a 3/2 kids full wetsuit with long sleeves and long legs for water of 12 to 17 °C. It keeps children on the SUP, on the surfboard or in the sea long after summer is over.
3/2 means 3 mm of neoprene on the torso, where children lose heat fastest, and 2 mm on the arms and legs to keep movement easy. O'Neill's refined cut hugs the body closely, so cold water does not flush through the suit.
The outer layer resists Velcro pulls and snags, and the knee pads stand up to climbing onto the board and kneeling. A wetsuit that survives kids' use until they outgrow it.
Who Is the O'Neill Reactor 2 3/2 Kids Wetsuit For?
This 3/2 kids full wetsuit is made for children who stay on the water after the swimming season ends, or who get cold quickly.
We recommend it for:
- kids in SUP and surf schools in spring and autumn
- young sailors at training sessions and regattas when the water drops below 18 °C
- young kitesurfers, windsurfers and wing foilers who spend a lot of time in the water
- families on autumn holidays on the Atlantic, where the ocean is colder than the Mediterranean
- children who get cold even in a summer lake
O'Neill Reactor 2 3/2 Kids Wetsuit Benefits
A cut that really fits the body
O'Neill is known for its carefully refined patterns, so the wetsuit fits a child like a second skin and does not flush with water.
Material that does not stretch out
Quality neoprene keeps its shape, so the suit stays snug and warm even after frequent use.
Warm in cooler water
A 3/2 thickness suits water between 12 and 17 °C: spring, autumn and colder lakes.
Free movement for paddling and swimming
Thinner neoprene on the arms and legs and strategic seam placement let children move without restriction.
Stands up to Velcro and board climbing
The outer layer does not snag on Velcro, and Krypto knee pads protect the knees, which wear out first on kids' suits.
Less chill in the wind
Windproof Smoothskin keeps children warmer when they stand on a SUP or climb out of the water.
Quick to put on
The back zip opens wide, so kids get in and out without pulling the suit over their shoulders.
Material and Technology
The Reactor 2 is made from UltraFlex Composite, a stretchy neoprene with a durable outer skin that does not tear on Velcro.
Flatlock seams are flat and breathable, so the suit is made for mild to cool water, not winter. The back zip has a water-resistant seal, the collar is adjustable and there is an external key pocket with a loop.

Material and Care
Rinse the wetsuit in fresh water after the sea or pool and dry it inside out in the shade so it stays soft for longer.
A kids wetsuit should fit snugly without restricting movement. Find the right size in the size chart, opened with the button on the product page. More models are among all our kids wetsuits.
Why Choose O'Neill?
In 1952 Jack O'Neill opened a surf shop in San Francisco and, according to the brand, made the first wetsuit that same year. O'Neill has been developing wetsuits for more than 70 years.
The Reactor 2 is O'Neill's value line, bringing its fit and durable seams at an affordable price. A smart choice for kids who outgrow their wetsuit quickly.
