Men’s Wetsuit for Transitional Seasons
The O’Neill Reactor 2 men’s 3/2 mm wetsuit in black is an excellent choice for a wide range of water sports such as SUP paddling, surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, wingfoiling, and wakeboarding. It is suitable for use from spring through late autumn, when water temperatures range between 15 and 20°C.
Neoprene Technology
The O’Neill Reactor 2 3/2 mm wetsuit is made from a combination of O’Neill’s Ultraflex DS neoprene. This super-stretch neoprene has an impressive stretch factor of up to 150%, allowing excellent freedom of movement and comfort during paddling and riding.
Ultraflex DS also features a durable outer layer that resists damage caused by Velcro or fingernails, helping the wetsuit maintain its shape and performance over time.
Smoothskin Wind Protection
Smoothskin panels allow water to run off quickly and protect the body from wind chill. The Smoothskin rubberized surface is strategically placed on the chest and back, where wind protection is most important. This helps keep the core warmer in cooler and windy conditions.
Because Smoothskin is more sensitive to abrasion, it is used only in areas where flexibility is less critical.
Back Zip for Easy Entry
The O’Neill Reactor 2 3/2 mm wetsuit features a back zip, making it quick and easy to put on. A long pull cord allows the zipper to be closed smoothly up to the neck.
A Velcro closure at the top of the zipper helps prevent water from flushing down the back of the neck.
Wetsuit Thickness
The 3/2 mm thickness means the neoprene is 3 mm thick around the torso for warmth, and 2 mm thick on the arms and legs for improved flexibility.
