O'Neill Psycho Tech 1.5 mm Surf Gloves
The O'Neill Psycho Tech 1.5 mm are thin wetsuit gloves for cool water, made from 1.5 mm UltraFlex neoprene with a TechnoButter Firewall lining. At 1.5 mm they keep excellent feel and dexterity on the bar, paddle or rail while still keeping your hands warm. Welded FSM seams block cold water and the silicone printed palm improves grip.
When should you choose 1.5 mm gloves instead of 3 mm?
Choose the O'Neill Psycho Tech 1.5 mm surf gloves for cool water and transitional seasons, roughly 14–18 °C, when dexterity matters most. For genuinely cold winter water around 10–13 °C, the warmer 3 mm version is the better choice.

These surf gloves are built on UltraFlex neoprene with a TechnoButter Firewall lining that retains heat and dries quickly. Rinse them in lukewarm fresh water after every session and dry them in the shade, away from direct sun and heat sources.
