Material and Technology

The O'Neill Psycho Tech 3mm gloves use O'Neill's TechnoButter 3 neoprene with three layers: a water-repellent outer jersey, an Envy foam rubber core and a pre-stretched inner jersey.

Envy foam insulates with microscopic air cells at a lower weight. The seams are glued and blindstitched, then sealed on the outside with an 8mm Fluid Seam Weld made of silicone-based urethane.

Are 3mm Wetsuit Gloves Warm Enough for Winter?

For most cold-water sessions in late autumn and winter, yes. The O'Neill Psycho Tech 3mm gloves combine 3mm neoprene, a heat-retaining Firewall lining and sealed seams. O'Neill does not specify an exact water temperature, so factor in how quickly your hands get cold.

Care

After every session, rinse the gloves in cold fresh water, turn them inside out and dry them in the shade. O'Neill advises against hot water, direct sun, washing machines and tumble dryers, as heat damages neoprene and glued seams.
