A Thin Wetsuit Hood for Cold Water and Frequent Wipeouts
The O'Neill Psycho 1.5mm is a wetsuit hood for water sports in cold water, when a beanie is no longer enough. It covers your head, ears and neck and overlaps your wetsuit collar, so cold water doesn't flush down your back when you fall or duck dive.
The Smoothskin exterior blocks the wind and the TechnoButter FireWall lining holds in heat. At 1.5mm the hood stays light and flexible.

When Do You Need a Wetsuit Hood?
O'Neill recommends a 1.5–2mm cap or hood once the water drops below 14 °C. For very cold water and long sessions, manufacturers recommend a thicker 3mm hood.

Care
