The outer shell is shaped to disperse impact energy and protect your head from the sharp edges of foil gear – the mast, wing, or board rails. The internal TrueFit© liner uses an adaptive fabric that molds to the shape of your head and prevents unwanted movement during riding or a fall.

Soft EVA foam is the material used in most certified water sports helmets – it absorbs impact well, is lightweight, hydrophobic (it doesn't soak up water), and holds its shape across many seasons of use.

The Fidlock® magnetic buckle is engineered for situations where standard plastic buckles are awkward or slow. The magnet finds the right position on its own, and the buckle releases with a simple sideways pull – the same system used in premium motorcycle and cycling helmets.

How to Choose the Right Size?

The right helmet size is critical for protection – a helmet that's too loose can shift during a fall, while one that's too tight causes discomfort and headaches.

Flite Helmet sizes:

• S – head circumference 50–54 cm (suitable for teenagers and adults with smaller heads)
• M – head circumference 54–58 cm (the most common adult size)
• L – head circumference 58–62 cm (for larger heads)

Tip: If you're between two sizes, choose the smaller one – the TrueFit© liner allows slight adjustment for a more comfortable fit. A helmet that's too loose loses much of its protective effect.
