JayKay E-Fin 2.0 Technology

The JayKay E-Fin 2.0 is built on the concept of full integration – the entire propulsion system is housed directly inside the fin with no external components. This means a clean, simple setup with no tangled cables and no extra weight on the board.

At its core is a 360 W brushless motor with stepless control, driving the propeller forward and in reverse. The motor automatically activates when the fin is submerged in water and switches off when removed – no manual switching required.

The battery pack with 10 × 21700 Li-ion cells (180 Wh) delivers a stable power source for various ride durations. An intelligent BMS system prevents deep discharge and overcharging, extending battery lifespan. The battery is swappable – with a spare battery, range is doubled.

Communication between the fin and controller operates wirelessly via a stable 433 MHz connection. The LCD controller displays key data in real time and easily attaches to any paddle (24–28 mm diameter).

The entire system is rated IP68 – fully dust- and waterproof, impact-resistant, and built for long-term use in fresh and saltwater. The housing is made from robust polycarbonate.

A safety feature automatically stops the motor if the controller signal is lost – ensuring safe operation in all conditions.
