Titanium Fuselage for the AXIS Tempo System

The AXIS Ti-Link Titanium Fuselage is a titanium fuselage designed for the AXIS Tempo front wing series. Together, Tempo and Ti-Link form a system that dominated the 2025 Hawaiian downwind race season – setting new standards for what's possible on open ocean swell.

Why titanium? Because higher aspect ratio wings demand stiffness throughout the entire system. AXIS discovered that stiff wings alone aren't enough – you need a rigid connection between all components so that rider input transfers directly to the wing. Ti-Link is the answer: a fuselage made from aerospace-grade titanium, precision machined, that doesn't flex.

The result is a system that is stiffer, more aerodynamic, and faster than anything AXIS has ever built. Tempo wings made from Ultra High Modulus carbon, connected via the titanium Ti-Link fuselage, create a setup for serious downwind riders, competitors, and anyone seeking maximum efficiency on the open ocean.

Ti-Link isn't an upgrade to an existing system – it's a new system designed from the ground up for the next generation of high aspect foil wings.

Who Is the AXIS Ti-Link Titanium Fuselage For?

The AXIS Ti-Link Titanium Fuselage is designed for riders who want to unlock the full potential of AXIS Tempo wings.

We recommend it for:

  • Downwind riders seeking maximum efficiency on swell
  • Competitors and serious downwind foilers
  • Users of AXIS Tempo wings (890 / 920 / 960 / 1020 / 1090)
  • Pump foil riders for better power transfer
  • Advanced wing foilers in a high aspect setup
  • Anyone transitioning to a high aspect system who needs a rigid foundation

Which Skinny Link Stabilizer to Choose?

The Ti-Link fuselage is designed to work with dedicated Skinny Link stabilizers – the fastest rear wings AXIS has ever made. Five sizes are available, differing in chord width, while the span remains the same across all (360 mm).

360/45 – Largest chord (45 mm). More stability and lift, suitable for heavier riders (90+ kg) and those transitioning to the Tempo system. A good starting point.

360/40 – A balanced choice for most riders of medium weight (75–90 kg). Enough stability for daily use, but noticeably less drag than the 45.

360/35 – Mid-size option for experienced riders. Less drag, more speed, but requires better technique. Suitable for lighter riders or advanced heavier riders.

360/30 – Pro-level stabilizer, designed exclusively for downwind riding. Not suitable for wing foiling due to excessive loading. For experienced downwind riders seeking minimal drag.

360/25 – Smallest chord, maximum speed, minimal drag. Exclusively for downwind competitors and professionals. Not suitable for wing foiling.

General rule: Heavier and less experienced riders should start with a larger chord (45, 40). Lighter and more experienced riders can choose a smaller chord (35, 30, 25) for less drag and more speed.

AXIS Ti-Link Titanium Fuselage Benefits

Designed for the Tempo System
Ti-Link isn't a universal fuselage – it's purpose-built for Tempo wings and Skinny Link stabilizers. Together, they form a system that dominated the 2025 Hawaiian race season.

Aerospace-Grade Titanium for Maximum Stiffness
Aero-grade titanium delivers exceptional stiffness at minimal weight. Every rider input transfers directly to the wing – no losses, no flex.

Precision CNC Machining
All Ti-Link system components are machined to absolute precision for a perfect fit with zero play.

Easy Assembly, Solid Connection
The system is designed for quick assembly. Once locked in place, it doesn't budge – even in the most demanding conditions.

Long-Term Durability
Titanium is completely resistant to corrosion and material fatigue. The fuselage maintains its properties through years of saltwater use.

Five Skinny Link Stabilizer Sizes
The system allows precise tuning based on rider weight, conditions, and riding style – from more stable setups to minimal drag for competitors.

Technology

The AXIS Ti-Link Titanium Fuselage was designed alongside the Tempo wings and Skinny Link stabilizers – from the ground up, not as an upgrade to an existing system. AXIS discovered that higher aspect ratio wings demand stiffness throughout the entire system, not just in the wings themselves.

The fuselage is made from aerospace-grade titanium, a material that combines exceptional strength, minimal weight, and complete corrosion resistance. Titanium is an isotropic material – it behaves consistently regardless of load direction, meaning predictable system response in all conditions.

Skinny Link stabilizers are made from Ultra High Modulus solid carbon (UHM) and are designed to fit the Ti-Link fuselage perfectly. The result is an aerodynamically clean system with minimal drag – the fastest rear wings AXIS has ever created.

Tempo front wing + Ti-Link fuselage + Skinny Link stabilizer = a system that works as one. It's no coincidence that this combination dominated the 2025 Hawaiian race season.

The Ti-Link system is patent pending.

Why Choose AXIS?

AXIS Foils is a New Zealand brand that helped pioneer the modular approach to foiling. From the very beginning, the AXIS system has been designed so riders can mix and match components for the optimal setup in any discipline.

The Tempo + Ti-Link + Skinny Link system represents the next generation of this philosophy: components designed together from the ground up, for riders who demand the best. It's no coincidence that this system dominated the 2025 Hawaiian race season.
