The AXIS ART V2 is a high aspect carbon front wing for riders who want more speed and glide without sacrificing control and predictability. With an aspect ratio of approximately 10, it combines the best of two AXIS lines – the relaxed turns of the Spitfire series and the exceptional glide of the ART PRO wings.
The wing shape tapers significantly towards the tips, reducing drag and enabling smooth, predictable turns – similar to a much smaller wing. At the same time, the large span maintains the glide and pumping ability known from the ART PRO line. The result is a wing that glides longer, turns easier and forgives more than its predecessors.
For additional stiffness, the wing is reinforced with Ultra High Modulus carbon at key points, ensuring better response and durability during demanding maneuvers.

The AXIS ART V2 fills the gap between the Spitfire and Fireball lines. Spitfire (AR ~7.5) is recommended for exceptional turns and maneuverability in waves. Fireball (AR 13) is recommended for maximum glide and speed in downwind. ART V2 (AR ~10) combines the best of both – glide and speed similar to Fireball, turns and forgiveness similar to Spitfire.

Technology
The AXIS ART V2 is built on three key construction innovations.
The first is the tapered wing outline, which reduces area at the tips. This lowers the second moment of area for roll and enables a perfectly elliptical spanwise lift distribution – in practice meaning less drag and more relaxed turns.
The second is the strategic use of Ultra High Modulus (UHM) carbon where the wing connects to the fuselage. This material provides exceptional stiffness without added weight – resulting in better power transfer, faster response and greater durability.
The third is the optimized profile, combining a thin midsection (similar to ART PRO) with Spitfire design elements. This enables a wide speed range – from low stall speed to high top speed.
