High-quality sun protection during paddleboarding and other water sports is even more important because we're more exposed to the sun than we would be while simply sunbathing. Cool winds and occasional splashes from waves reduce the sensation of burning sun, allowing us to stay outdoors longer. The most effective sun protection combines the use of sunscreen and UV-protective clothing.
