SUP Spare Parts – for Your Board, Paddle and Pump
SUP spare parts are replacement parts and repair supplies for your inflatable paddle board, paddle and pump, from valves and D-rings to PVC glue. You can fix most small problems yourself in minutes, so a lost screw or a pinhole doesn't keep your board on the beach all day. With regular care and timely replacement of worn parts, your kit lasts for many seasons.
Our range includes valves, D-rings, bungee cords, handles, fin screws and pins, glue and a repair kit, paddle and pump parts, plus SUP cleaner and UV protection. You'll find complete replacement fins in our SUP fins.
Which SUP Spare Part Do I Need?
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Board losing air (goes soft during the day) | check the valve + tighten or replace it |
| Small hole or cut (leaks in one spot) | PVC glue + repair service for larger damage |
| D-ring or handle coming off (loosens under load) | SUP glue + new D-ring or handle |
| Paddle slipping (shortens as you paddle) | new clamp or height adjustment system |
| Pump won't reach pressure (air escapes back) | seal + check valve or hose |
| Lost screw or pin (can't fit the fin) | fin screw and plate or fin pin |
| Dirty, faded board (salt, sun) | SUP cleaner + UV protection spray |
SUP Valve – What to Do When Your Board Loses Air
The most common reason a SUP deflates on its own is the valve: sand under the seal, a loose housing or a worn seal. Before replacing it, try this:
- Check that the valve pin is in the closed position.
- Rinse the valve with fresh water to clear sand and salt.
- Spray soapy water on and around the valve. Bubbles show you where air is escaping.
- If it leaks around the edge, deflate the board and tighten the valve with a valve wrench.
- If it still leaks, replace the valve.
Most inflatable SUPs use a standard HR valve, so pump hose adapters and valve adapters fit boards from different brands.
SUP Glue and PVC Glue – How to Repair an Inflatable SUP
Inflatable SUPs are made of PVC, so you repair them with PVC glue.
| Glue | Use |
|---|---|
| One-part (quick fix) | small pinholes + loose fittings + bonds PVC, neoprene and rubber |
| Two-part (glue + activator) | permanent repair of holes and cuts + fully airtight seal |
How to repair a pinhole:
- Find the leak with soapy water on the inflated board and mark it.
- Deflate the board, then clean and degrease the surface.
- Apply the glue following the manufacturer's instructions and press firmly.
- Wait until the glue has fully cured before inflating, around 24 hours for two-part glue.
Glue in a dry, well-ventilated room at room temperature, out of direct sunlight. PVC glue is also suitable for repairing PVC dinghies, inflatable boats and inflatable kayaks.
SUP Repair Kit – What to Take With You
On a day trip or holiday, pack a small repair kit that can save your day on the water:
- PVC glue,
- a valve wrench,
- a spare fin screw and plate or fin pin,
- a piece of PVC for a patch and some sandpaper,
- thin gloves.
SUP Board Spare Parts
- Valve: replacement valve for inflatable boards.
- D-rings: for your leash, bungee cords and seat.
- Bungee cords: to secure a bag, dry bag or drink on deck.
- Handles: centre and side carry handles.
- Fin box (US fin box): to replace a damaged fin box.
- Fin screw, plate and pin: to secure the fin.
- Mast insert: to attach a sail to the board.
You can glue on a new D-ring, handle or fin box yourself, or our repair team in our Ljubljana store can fit them for you.
SUP Paddle Spare Parts
On a paddle, the parts that hold the length and sections together wear first:
- clamps and spring clips for 3-piece paddles,
- height adjustment systems,
- handles for fixed and adjustable paddles,
- screws for fixing the blade or handle.
Measure your paddle shaft diameter before you buy, as clamps and handles only fit a specific diameter. You'll find new paddles in our SUP paddles.
SUP Pump Spare Parts
On a pump, the seals, check valve and hose wear out, making it harder to reach the right pressure. We stock hoses and hose adapters, check valves, seals, pressure gauges, and pump handles and knobs. Parts aren't universal, so check which pump model they're designed for. You'll find new pumps in our SUP pumps.
SUP Cleaner and UV Protection – Maintenance Kit
After every paddle in the sea, rinse your board with fresh water. Clean it from time to time with a SUP cleaner that removes stains and salt residue. A UV protection spray shields the PVC from the sun, which dries out and weakens the material over time. Store your board dry and in the shade. For more tips, see our SUP storage.
SUP Repair Service
Larger cuts, split seams and damaged rails are best left to the experts. In our Ljubljana store we repair SUPs, replace valves and fit new D-rings and handles.
