Lightweight Inflatable Duotone SLS SUP Boards
Duotone SUP boards are inflatable paddle boards built in SLS construction (Strong · Light · Superior), placing them among the lightest inflatable SUPs on the market. The two lightest boards in the range weigh 7.2 kg, the heaviest 7.9 kg — up to 20% less than comparable conventional inflatable boards. It is a difference you feel every time you carry the board from the car to the water.
We stock four models in five sizes: the family-friendly Flow Air SLS, the versatile Grace Air SLS, and the touring Blitz Air SLS and Raven Air SLS. Every board ships as a complete package — board, paddle, pump, fin, safety leash, backpack and repair kit.
Why are Duotone SUP boards so light?
Duotone boards are light because of the SLS construction: woven drop-stitch material and machine-welded rails instead of glued seams cut weight by up to 20% while making the board stiffer and more durable. The boards also roll up 40% more compactly than conventional inflatables.
Woven drop-stitch material
The internal fibres are woven rather than simply inserted. At 20% lower weight the board flexes less and behaves closer to a hard board on the water — less bounce, more control.
Machine-welded rails
The rails are welded rather than glued. Less adhesive means less weight and fewer weak points where delamination could start.
Gearbag Pocket backpack (1.5 kg)
By removing the heavy wheels, Duotone cut the bag weight by 50%. The complete package with the board stays under 10 kg, so you can carry it comfortably on your back.
US Split-Box fin system
The board folds at the fin box, so it rolls down significantly smaller and saves a further 20% in fin-system weight. The Grace Air SLS packs down to just 38 litres — small enough for a car boot or a travel bag.
Which Duotone SUP board should you choose?
Choose the 10'8 Flow Air SLS for family use and learning, the 11'2 Grace Air SLS for lighter paddlers and women, the 11'2 or 12' Blitz Air SLS for touring, and the 12'6 Raven Air SLS for speed over long distances.

Who is a lightweight SUP right for?
Low weight is not a marketing number — it is the difference between a board you actually use and one that stays in the garage. We recommend Duotone SLS boards for:
- anyone living in a flat without a lift, or carrying the board up and down stairs,
- women and lighter paddlers who find a 12 kg board too heavy to carry alone,
- travellers — the board packs down to 38 litres, less than many suitcases,
- frequent paddlers who do not want gear handling to be the obstacle,
- families, where the board is carried by whoever is closest, not the strongest.

Boards come with a 2-year warranty. Register your board free of charge on the Duotone website within 60 days of purchase and the warranty is extended to a total of 30 months.
